For 20 years the gardens on the Sth side of the centre has been closed off due to unsafe and uneven ground and had been literally turned into our dumping site for broken furniture and unwanted items.  It was sad to have let it go by the wayside, but with the support of our Committee, Staff, volunteers, local residents and Hobsons Bay City Council who contributed a $5000 funding Grant under the Community Led Initiatives, the Garden has been transformed into a safe and useable community space.

Works commenced in May and after several weeks of volunteer support, clearing out rubbish and overgrown plants, EB Landscaping came in and did their magic.

It has been transformed into a place of  learning & socialising, with meeting areas, our edible garden, quiet reflective areas and access for people of all ages and abilities.
