Welcome to the Altona Meadows Community Centre

The Altona Meadows Community Centre has been a part of the Hobsons Bay municipality for nearly 30 years. The Centre has grown with the surrounding communities and today runs a diverse program of activities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, including hobby & leisure, recreational, vocational & educational, performing arts, music, dance,   health & wellbeing, fitness and Social & Support groups.

The Altona Meadows Community centre was purpose built in 1991 by Hobsons Bay City Council and  run by an independent Committee of Management made up of local residents with the knowledge and expertise to ensure an open and inclusive centre is available to everyone.   Since then, it has grown into a vibrant and inclusive Community space meeting the needs of our local and surrounding residents.
